Owner Surrenders
Due to the high volume of Labs currently in rescue, Wild Heir is closed to owner surrender intake. If you must give up your dog and have exhausted all other options, we can offer assistance by courtesy listing on our website. However, we have no open foster homes so you must keep your dog until you find an adopter and all interested adopters must contact you directly.
If you must surrender your dog into rescue and have exhausted all other options, please fill out the owner surrender application and a Wild Heir representative will be in contact with you within 3 days. You can also download MS Word or PDF versions of our owner surrender form.
Please understand that while we do our very best to help as many Labs in need as we can, dogs in immediate, life threatening shelter situations take precedence over owner surrenders. We ask for your patience and for you to be able to possibly foster your dog until other arrangements can be made. We are an all volunteer organization so our dogs are in private fosters homes and we do not have a kennel facility.
