RetiredShowDog.jpgWe are in immediate need of a foster or adoptive home for this 8 year old retired show bitch. She was dropped off Saturday morning at a local high kill shelter. She has been spayed, is current on vaccinations and is heartworm negative. This sweet girl is friendly and laid back and will make a good looking addition to your family!

ColumbiaPups.jpg3 new arrivals to Wild Heir came in the form of Nicholas, Olivia and Barney on April 11. These sweet pups are the last three in need of forever homes from a Good Samaritan who found loving homes for the rest of the litter and had the mom spayed.

They are approximately 12 weeks old and already potty trained!

Horry County pups

Of the 14 yellow Lab pups rescued from the Horry County shelter on March 6, 9 survived the gastric and respiratory ick that is so prevalent and dangerous to puppies in shelter settings. It was a hard week at Wild Heir losing 5, including Darla. However, the surviving pups have strong immune systems, and are happy, friendly and healthy! With most of their sisters and brothers adopted already, Liam, Aidan and Finn are the remaining adorable boys in search of forever homes. They love belly rubs and playing with their toys. They will make fine family companions and best fur friends.

Breaking News....Liam and Aidan were adopted today!

Georgia's puppies update

Georgia Puppy 1Georgia and her 8 pups who were rescued from a rural, high kill shelter in Griffin, GA on Feb. 19 are available for adoption! 3 yellow girls and 5 black boys were named after British writers with Baillie and Taylor already having found forever homes. Georgia herself is in a foster home and ready to be your new dog! She adores people and playing with other dogs.

Georgia Puppy 2The pups are friendly and active with Eliot being the tiniest of the bunch. We're not exactly sure of what the smaller breed mix is with Lab in the black pups, but we do know that it is 100% cute!

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Junior's hip surgery fund. We have raised more than $600 towards the first hip! Surgery will be scheduled as soon as we get at bit closer to our goal of $1,000, so remember every $5 or $10 helps get him closer to a normal pain free life of running and playing.
For those unfamiliar with Junior and his hip problem, please go to our website's front page and read about this sweet little guy with the heart of gold.
