Pet lovers are invited to the 2010 Doggie Day at the Rec! The action starts at 9 am and runs til 1 pm.
This annual event features a rabies clinic from 9 am - 11 am, pet photos, local rescue groups, pet-related businesses & sponsors, AND (drum roll, please) at 10 am the main event begins... a fantastic, fun-filled Dog Show!
Be sure and stop by our booth for cute doggy decals, magnets, groovy tshirts, dogdannas, scrunchy collar covers and more! Meet our adoptable, adorable Labs and friendly volunteers.
We will be set up beside our friends at Lowcountry Golden Retriever Rescue inside the Rec Center near the show ring and outside near the front doors (weather permitting.) Pick your favorite flavor of retriever while supporting local rescue efforts!
Joey, an adoptable Wild Heir Lab/ Dalmation mix says, "This is a really convenient and inexpensive way to get your BFF (Best Furry Friend) his rabies vaccination. The clinic runs from 9 am to 11 am, and will be located at one of my favorite hang outs, the Bark Park behind the Rec Center on 29th Ave.''
"Oh, I almost forgot! IOP city dog licenses are available with proof of rabies vaccination."
