Star

Star is a gorgeous, BIG (75+ lbs ), 7 to 8 year old girl who has really turned into a fine companion and baby dog. Star passed her temperament test at the shelter with flying colors but was not dealing with the stress and noise of a shelter setting very well. Coming from an isolated household, she had been completely bonded to her doggie housemates and did not know how to properly meet and socialize with new dogs. After only a week and a half of slow introductions and boundary setting in rescue, Star has become a star at making friends, hanging out with a new pack, and being a super house dog!

She adores attention, but also likes to play with other dogs and collect toys. This gorgeous gal also enjoys sleeping in the people bed (only when invited!) on her back with all four feet up in the air and her head on the pillow ;-)
