Midnight

Update: Midnight has been adopted.

Meet our Lady Midnight, the perfect example of the loyalty and sweetness embodied in most Labs. This older girl (about 8 years old) is lean, muscular, alert and affectionate. You can tell that her happiest days have been playing in the yard or lying at her master's feet. Now that she has matured, her short, black coat is sprinkled with white in the most endearing way. Midnight has white "eye brows" that just make her quizzical looks that much more funny! The only time she barks is when she is guarding her foster home. She is friendly to everyone including little dogs and cats which makes her a GEM! She does fine with the small children in her current foster home, but the noise makes her retire to a corner to retire at times. Embrace this sweetie and your heart will KNOW what you have been missing!

Wild Heir Labrador Rescue is seeking responsible, loving foster homes for rescued retrievers. As an all volunteer, foster home based organization (we do not have a shelter facility), we rely on the kindness of dog lovers to help these wonderful Labs find safe haven prior to adoption. We offer medical and training advice, take care of vetting, provide an experienced support network and actively work to place our Labs into carefully screened permanent homes. Foster generally lasts from 2 weeks to 2 months and is crucial to our lifesaving efforts. Thanks to an enthusiastic volunteer network , Wild Heir was able to save over 250 dogs from life threatening situations in 2008. Please consider helping a Lab in need today!
