Gypsy

Update: Gypsy has been adopted.

Hi, I'm Gypsy! I don't know why, but I ended up at the scary place, when the nice ladies from Wild Heir went to pick up one of my cell mates from the shelter they saw me and their hearts melted. I was so scared and alone so they brought me into rescue and now I'm living with a nice foster mom and my foster dog sister. At seven months old, I'm still just a pup but I'm a very good little girl. I know how to sit and stay and I'm well behaved in the house. I'm a petite little girl, so I probably won't be super big when I grow up. I'm really, really sweet and I'll curl up in your lap and give you hugs with my paws! I love to go to the dog park and play with the big kids. I would love to find my forever home so as I can grow up I can be part of a loving family!

Update: Sullivan has been adopted.

Hi, I'm Sullivan! I'm a gorgeous 3 year old guy. I was dumped at a very scary shelter in North Carolina and the nice people at Wild Heir went and rescued me. I was very shy and traumatized when I first came out of the shelter, but now I'm learning to trust again and my Labby personality is beginning to shine! I'm sweet and loving and I like other dogs, but what I really LOVE is the water! I'm a true retriever and would be very happy to find a forever home with someone who likes to go to the beach or has a boat.

Missy

Meet Missy! From her foster mom: Missy is about 18 months old, and is a beautiful 55 pound spayed female. She was found in the middle of a busy road, trying to shield a young puppy from oncoming cars. We live in the country so we suspect they had just been dumped. Missy has come a long way from that day in mid-February. She is housetrained, has had all of her medical work and is a delightful, playful companion. She walks well on a leash, travels well in a car, knows "sit", "down" and "wait", has received crate training (we only crate for meals, as she is completely reliable in the house), loves to play with her toys, fetch a ball and enjoy the water. She is good with our 5 dogs, but has not been exposed to cats. Missy is still shy and wary in new situations and places, so she needs a family to help her build confidence. She is great with our teenaged son. She really prefers to be right with her people at all times, a brother or sister dog to play with would be a plus, but not necessary. Missy is capable of jumping or digging under fences if she perceives she is being left, so she needs to be an indoor companion. She is a very calm and easygoing inside, we walk several miles daily and that seems to satisfy her need for exercise. The puppy was adopted, now it's Missy's turn to find her forever home!
