Mama is approximately 8-10 years young and came to us from a shelter in North Carolina. She had been there for several months as she was taken away from her previous owners due to animal cruelty and neglect. Even after all she's been through, she's the sweetest girl you will ever meet! She loves everyone and all other dogs. Mama was in foster with a small puppy and she cared for and cleaned the little one as if it were her own. Mama is a rather petite lady weighing approximately 40 pounds. She has adorable little white 'ankle socks' and a beautiful white face. She loves to go to the park and for walks and is also very content to curl up and watch a good movie at night! Mama would be forever grateful to find a loving family of her own!

Mama stayed with us for a week on her way to Charleston and we LOVED having her. Honestly we would have kept her if our dogs would have been nicer to her. She has the best personality and disposition. We have two dogs, a cat and a 5 year old two legged and Mama was wonderful with all of them, even when our dogs were beating up on her she never snapped back or got upset. WONDERFUL dog. Please give her a home as deserving as she is!
I've been fostering Mama recently and she is the most relaxed dog I have ever seen. She only gets excited around other dogs and will start prancing around. She is completely house trained and I have never once heard her bark. She knows when I pick up my keys that it's time for her to go for a walk. She does well around kids and other animals - usually she'll just ignore cats. Give her a nice spot to lay down and she'll love you forever.
